Jessie J

Jessica Ellen Cornish is an English musician and singer who goes under the stage name Jessie J. She is known for her unique music style, which mixes soul with pop, electropop and hip-hop, Jessie garnered much fame early on. Her awards include the 2011 Critics' Choice Brit Award and BBC's Sound of 2011 as well as several nominations. She started her career at the young age of 11, when she was part of the musical "Whistle Down the Wind' by English composer Andrew Lloyd Webber. Her next step was joining the National Youth Music Theater and performed in their 2002 production The Late Sleepers'. The year 2011, when she gained a lot of attention by releasing her debut album 'Who You Are'. In the UK alone the album sold 105,000 copies, whereas in the US it was 34,000.
